The Publishing Post

The Publishing Post is a twice-monthly magazine which aims to represent everyone trying to break into the industry. With articles on Upskilling and interviews with publishing professionals, the Post is the best place to access a wealth of insights on the industry while learning how to make yourself more employable.

The Society of Young Publishers

Open to anyone, of any age, looking to get into publishing or interested in the trade. They offer advice on everything from cover letter tips to how to network effectively, alongside regular events and workshops across the UK. They also offer a comprehensive database of entry-level/junior job opportunities.

New Writing North

New Writing North was established to support writers and readers in the North of England. While NWN was created to support writers, they regularly run workshops and events engaging with publishing, particularly northern independents.
